Lonti Ebers, Founder and CEO
Lonti Ebers is a long-time art collector and supporter of contemporary art. She established Amant to create studios and exhibition spaces that would encourage artistic evolution and experimentation gratis of the fiscal brunt and administrative confines that typically accompany art practise in New York. Lonti has served on the boards of several museums in both the Usa and abroad and is currently a trustee of New York's Museum of Modernistic Art (MoMA), serves on the board of the Eye for Curatorial Studies at Bard College in Upstate New York, and sits on the European Committee of the Tate Gallery in London.
Ruth Estévez, Director and Chief Curator
Ruth Estévez is a curator and stage designer. Her research work focuses on artistic practices that explore how the spoken and written language operates within the visual arts, gimmicky civilisation and politics. She was the co-curator of the 34th São Paulo Biennial (2021) and from 2018 to 2020 she was senior curator-at-large at the Rose Fine art Museum in Waltham, and curator of the functioning program at MACBA in Barcelona. She was Redcat Gallery Director in Los Angeles and Master Curator at the Carrillo Gil Museum in Mexico City.
Nick Pilato, Chief Operating Officeholder
Nick Pilato's ethos and approach to piece of work and life were forged in the cauldron of cocky-discipline, collaborative leadership, and intense marvel. He has over vii years of operational experience in art institutions beyond New York, most recently as the Director of Operations at Greene Naftali Gallery. Nick holds an MFA from the Mason Gross School of the Arts.
Sarah Demeuse, Head of Publications and Communications
Sarah has a background in literary and curatorial studies. Since 2010, Sarah has edited and co-edited numerous artist monographs, anthologies, and websites. She is the creator of podcast dos and co-author of Name Takes, a podcast serial with Kunstinstituut Melly. Betwixt 2019-2020, Sarah was strategist-at-large at acclaimed design studio Wkshps. Sarah has taught at Barnard College, Columbia University, and the School of Visual Arts.
Isabella Nimmo, Assistant Curator of Exhibitions and Education
Isabella Nimmo is an organizer of artistic projects. Prior to Amant, she was Assistant Curator of Public Programs at the Tate in London and Producer of IdeasCity at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York. She holds degrees from the London School of Economics and New York University. A social historian in another life, Isabella is especially interested in works that comprise historiographical elements and allow for new ways of agreement and experiencing the past.
Hannah Marks, Executive Assistant and Special Events Coordinator
Hannah Marks is a researcher, result coordinator, and gorging reader. She comes from the fast-paced auction industry, which she had been involved in since studying at Sotheby's in 2012. She holds a BA in art history from Christie's Didactics, and an MA in Art History and Art Business from the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
Anna Lyman, Siena Residency Coordinator
Anna Lyman is an arts administrator, strategist, and leadership advisor. She spent over vii years living and working in Italy, and has most recently held high-level authoritative positions in U.South.-based arts and cultural institutions including the Institute of Contemporary Fine art/Boston and the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD). Anna holds an AB in Religion and the Humanities from the Academy of Chicago, and an MBA in Arts Administration from the Academy of Wisconsin-Madison.
Rebeca Navarro, Visitor Engagement Managing director
Rebeca is a museum educator. Born and raised in United mexican states, she is a former actress and teacher but virtually of all a proud Latina. She holds a MA in Contemporary Art and the Market place from Christie's Didactics, NY, and a MA in Museología (Museum Studies) from Instituto Iberoamericano de Museología. She worked at The People's Studio at MoMA, engaging with diverse audiences.
Silas Edgar, Communications and Customs Coordinator
Silas has a groundwork in electronic music production, language study, and holds a BFA in Dramatic Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He has previously worked in a customs-based nonprofit setting supporting projects targeting health equity and nutrient admission in Brooklyn, and brings this attention to community context into his piece of work at Amant.
Stefanie Jason, Graduate Research Fellow
Stefanie Jason works at the intersection of enquiry, writing and curating. Currently an Art History PhD student at Rutgers University, Stefanie graduated with an MA in Curatorial Practice from Wits University, with a thesis on the archival absenteeism of pioneering photojournalist Mabel Cetu from South Africa's mainstream histories. Stefanie also created the zine titled Centring Silences: The Elusive Photographic Archive of Mabel Cetu, which features a drove of responses to the memory of Cetu. An International Women'southward Media Foundation 2017 fellow, Stefanie has worked as a journalist and editor.
Anthony Limauro, Caput of Installation
Anthony graduated from Pratt Institute in 2015 with a BFA in Sculpture and has been working in fabrication and installation in the fine art globe since. He has feel working with a broad range of materials and artists and enjoys tending to the small details that others tend to overlook. Outside of art he enjoys playing cards, board games, and riding his bicycles.
Nicole Ruffin, Facilities Banana
Nicole was built-in into a armed services family stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. She presently after relocated to Washington Heights in New York City. Nicole attended ABC No Rio where the city's melting pot fueled her aspirations to serve the customs as a New York Metropolis Parks and Recreations employee.
Colleen Stonebrook, Visitor Engagement Representative and Education Facilitator
Colleen is a recent graduate from Pratt Plant with a BFA in Art Education. They consider art-making and viewing as a way to build a sense of home for the individual, and a sense of togetherness for the community.
Charlotte Sechrist, Visitor Engagement Representative
Charlotte Sechrist is currently pursuing her MA in Art History at CCNY, with a BA in Studio Fine art from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. In tandem with her painting practice, she discovered her passion for contemporary art while studying away at the University of Goldsmiths, London, and proceeded to spend her time in undergrad curating collaborative DIY art exhibitions in Memphis. She is excited to continue her studies in NYC while engaging with the gallery feel through working at Amant.
Joseph "Sep" Blanco is a native New Yorker from The Bronx. He holds a BFA from SUNY Buy. In his free fourth dimension he likes to listen to music and visit art galleries for more inspiration.

Melissa Inéz Rodríguez, Visitor Appointment Representative
Melissa has an immense love for the arts and the built surround, which stemmed from having grown up in New York. She has worked in several art institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and she is currently finishing her BA in Fine art History at Queens College.
Nick Marsico-Morea, Visitor Engagement Representative
Nick is originally from Los Angeles and holds a BA from Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Subsequently graduating, he spent a twelvemonth pedagogy high school English in Tokyo. Since moving to New York, he has worked at arts institutions including The Moth and Harkawik Gallery and is most interested in curatorial practice and fine art writing. He loves to attend concerts and discover emerging artists by gallery hopping in his spare time.
